Sybil has worked at LELP since 2018 in various roles; she was named director in 2022.  Sybil and her husband have three children and several pets. She is a  member of St. Matthews; in her free time she enjoys reading, sewing and crafting.

Ms. Mae is in her third year with LELP, having completed her Assistant Teacher certification in September 2023.  She also  has many years of stay-at-home mom experience.  She and her husband have three children, which are all LELP graduates.  

Mrs. Peterson teaches a weekly lesson to help children learn how to express themselves through music.  As one of the preschool founders, she continues to share her musical gifts at LELP.  Mrs. Peterson has instilled melodies into the hearts of LELP children  for more than 50 years. 

LELP welcomed Senora Rice as part of its teaching staff during the 2022-23 school year.  Senora Rice learned to speak Spanish as a child while living in the Dominican Republic for several years.  She has remained fluent by serving as a translator for numerous mission trips to Guatemala.   She teaches weekly at LELP.
